Congratulations to our superstars Turlough Muldoon (football) and Kate Daly (camogie), who qualified from the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Tyrone Skills Day, to play in Croke Park at the All Ireland Semi-Finals this summer. There were only six places available across the entire county for the four codes, and it is such a huge privilege for our whole community to have TWO of our children selected, due to their exceptional skills! We are the only school to achieve this double-honour, testament to the great coaching available at both Roan St Patrick's and Eglish GAC. Many thanks to all at Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Tyrone for their fantastic GAA provision and to Mr Eddie Doris for organising all of the events available for our children.
The future really is bright in Eglish, and we as a school continue to have an incredibly successful year on the sporting field. We now look forward to our girls' footballers and camogs representing our school and county in the Ulster finals after Easter!
