The crops are growing! 🥬
The children were lucky enough to get to sample some of our produce before they finished for the holidays. We had our first strawberries ready to eat this week. We also had a peek inside our first bean pods and sampled some of our delicious lettuce. We also have rhubarb, celery, cabbage and beetroot growing nicely.
Staff will tend to our crops through July and August and hopefully we will have plenty more food for you all to sample over the coming months.
Huge thanks to our Eco Council members who have been watering and weeding daily to ensure our plants were looked after.
P2 also took home their 🌻 sunflowers 🌻 this week to re-pot them and watch them grow taller and taller.
We can’t wait to see pictures of how tall they grow.
Work will continue on our outdoor space in July and August and we can’t wait to reveal it all in September.
