Sponsored Cycle
8th Apr 2016
Our school sponsored cycle will be held on Saturday 16th at 2pm. The money raised for the school will be primarily used for the installation of a defibrillator at the school and training for all school staff in its use. The defibrillator will be suited for use on both children and adults and will act as an important resource for both the school and the wider community.
The details for Saturday’s Fun Cycle/ Walk are as follows;
- Registration for all families will start at 1.15pm at the school where children will be put into their appropriate groups.
- Primary 6 & 7 children, accompanied by experienced adults, will be the first group to leave. Primary 4 and 5 children, accompanied by experienced adults, will be the second group.
- Primary 1, 2 and 3 children, pre-school children, their parents and all those who are walking will be the final group to leave. Children in this group must be supervised by their parents. For obvious safety reasons, children of this age cannot cycle the route unaccompanied. There will be refreshments in the school hall afterwards.
A helmet is compulsory for any child who is cycling.
