Rural Schools Reconciliation Project with Richmond PS
The Rural Schools Reconciliation Project works with schools in rural areas to bring young people together for shared education activities. Today, our Primary 5 and 6 children had their first of four workshops with Richmond PS, designed so that they can mix and meet their peer group from a different background. This will help them to learn about, and become more aware of each other’s cultural traditions. Over the four workshops, our children will be learning to be tolerant and respectful of diversity within a shared society.
All children had a fantastic day and are looking forward to their next workshop in a fortnight's time.
