What a day! History has been made as our whole school community completed Eglish's first ever mararthon event at Fr Connolly Park today. The event finished back at Roan St Patrick's and all participants recieved their special commemorative medal and goody bag. A massive thanks to all of our sponsors, parents and children who helped to raise almost £8000 towards our school funds - an amazing amount of money!! Thanks to all who donated refreshments, volunteered to help in any way, our school staff and most of all our Parent's Support Group (PSG). Our PSG works tirelessly behind the scene yearly to help raise funds for the school and support school events. Our staff and children really appreciate all that you do for us year in, year out. Thanks to all runners that took part, from our 6 mile group to our Primary 1 and 2 group. Well done to all of our raffle prize winnners and our top 3 money-raising families!
