Primary 7 visit Ranfurly House.
7th Mar 2024
The Primary sevens had the opportunity to visit both Dungannon library and Ranfurly House on an educational visit linked to their topic on the Irish Famine. This was a really worthwhile experience for them as they had the opportunity to research first hand the workhouses in the local area, as well as having the opportunity to live through history as part on a reenactment of The life of a child in the workhouse. I don’t think there were too many children ‘enjoyed’ the harshness of Mrs. McKinley. Well done P7.
