Our Primary 7 class visited the Folk Park in Omagh this week as part of their Great Irish Famine Studies. They have been reading Under the Hawthorne Tree and Wildflower Girl as their class novels, and on this trip, they got to meet characters from the book and learn all about life in Famine times. What an active and exciting way to learn!
