The pupils and staff got into the festive spirit today as they all took part in our Christmas fundraiser. The younger children participated in a Jingle Bell Jog whilst the older pupils sprinted to the finish of the Christmas Kilometre. The morning was full of singing and laughter and it was just what everyone needed. The children (and staff) had so much fun.
Thank you to all our families who supported our fundraising event and helped us to raise £3500 for our school. Also to Kevin Muldoon and Matthew McGleenan who gave up their morning to help with the event.
Finally a huge work of thanks to Miss Kerr who organised the whole event. Lots of time was spent ensuring all the children were safe and had lots of fun. She even organised for everyone to have a lovely treat of hot chocolate and cookies to warm them up after their run.
A brilliant day was had by everyone involved!
