We were delighted to welcome An Uachtarán of the GAA Jarlath Burns & An Uachtarán of Cumann na mBunscol Gary Farrell to our school today to celebrate our national award for the Promotion of Gaelic Games & Culture. We showcased some of our GAA talent and cultural work whilst enjoying some of our Cumann na mBunscol Week activities.
Both Jarlath & Gary commended the excellent work going on in our school and community. Our children were great ambassadors for our school today as always!
Well done to Tierna, Isla, Tiarnan & Séimí who took our visitors on a walking tour of the school. They were presented with a special jersey by Gary Farrell.
All children contributed brilliantly to the occasion, with a special mention to Mrs Mullan and her dancers & traditional group.
