Our Eco-Council and our P7 class made a start on our Nurture Garden today. Thankfully the rain stayed away and the sun shone. Everyone worked extremely hard and the results so far are fantastic. From gathering stones to painting planters the children never stopped all day and we couldn’t have completed the work without them. None of the work could have taken place today without the prep work by Conor Daly who has been a huge support to Mrs Magill in the project so far. A big word of thanks to the men from Barrett’s who were on call and delivered numerous loads of soil to us throughout the day and to Michaela Cassidy who arrived at 2pm with Slush Puppies for everyone as a little treat, this was a lovely surprise. Our parent donations have started flooding in and we can’t wait to get everything built up, in place and show you the finished project. For now have a look at our fun filled Friday, with a bunch of amazing children, and few great members of staff who got their hands dirty too!
