Our school had the honour of receiving an award this week at a special Civic Reception, in recognition of last year's exceptional GAA achievements. The highlight of these was without doubt our Ulster success in the girls' indoor competitions, winning the Malachy McGeeney Cup for the first time in the school's history. One of the stars of that particular team, Cara Donnelly (P7), collected the award on behalf of the school from Councillor Sean McPeake. Cara was joined by her proud parents PJ and Lisa and teachers Mr Grimley and Mr Mone. A proud moment for our school and community!
