Mighty Moe - Dealing with Anxiety
8th Jun 2020
We would like to draw your attention to a number of resources that can help with children dealing with anxiety during this difficult time. The Mighty Moe workbook has been added to the Home Learning section of the site and is targeted at 5-11 year olds. We are also signposting a number of other resources which you may find useful!
- Chill Panda - http://chillpanda.co.uk/
- Middletown Centre for Autism have a few nice webinars on anxiety and ASD, sensory diets, personal care etc which are user friendly (and very thought provoking). https://www.middletownautism.com/covid19
- https://copingskillsforkids.com/ – practical and easy to follow (e.g. breathing techniques, how to recognise and reframe anxiety etc).
- https://www.elsa-support.co.uk/category/free-resources/coronavirus-support/ - emotional literacy.
- https://www.eani.org.uk/services/pupil-support-services - if you log on to the EA site and look under Pupil Support Services - LCS and AAIS have a wealth of great resources (including P1-4 reading support - https://www.eani.org.uk/sites/default/files/2020-05/book%20ideas%20for%20parents%20P1-P4.pdf ).
