We will be holding a major fundraising event this term. Our children, parents and staff will be taking part in a Colour Run on Saturday 18th June at 11.00am. We are asking children to seek some sponsorship for their efforts. We are issuing each family with a sponsorship sheet (these will be sent home on Monday) and for every completed sheet, a ticket will be placed in a draw for a special prize (draw will be made after run at the school). Sheets and money raised are to be returned to school by Friday 10th June.
We will be asking local businesses to sponsor the run. We have enclosed a letter which can be given to any business you may know of which might be interested in sponsoring the event. More details on the event itself will be issued in the coming weeks.
Our goal is to raise £15,000 over the coming months to fund extra toileting facilities for our school. Due to our fixed enrolment number of 83, the school is not entitled to any additional accommodation. Our Governors have been working on a review of our enrolment number for many years now as this is not a straight forward process. We are hopeful that this will be addressed soon but the procedure of increasing a school’s enrolment number and the possibility of enhanced accommodation thereafter can be quite lengthy. In the meantime, we must work to ensure that our children are given the maximum provision possible within our existing space. We hope that you can all get behind this fundraiser and subsequent fundraisers over the coming months. We appreciate your continued support throughout these incredibly difficult times.
