The boys and girls in Mrs McKeown's class had a great week celebrating Diwali and learning about Hindu cultures and traditions! Some of the highlights were making and tasting spicy rice and samosas; making and sharing Diwali sweets; dramatizing the traditional Hindu story of Rama and Sita; making Diwali lanterns and of course the dancing!!
