What a special day it was for our boys' footballers winning the Cabragh Cup for the first time in 9 years! The lads played fantastically for Mr Grimley throughout the day and had to beat excellent Ballygawley and Cabragh sides to claim the cup. This year we were able to enter two teams into the competition from the same squad. Our second team battled their way to the shield final and played brilliantly against a strong Donaghmore team, only to lose out in the end.
Our two Netball teams made it to the semi-finals of the girls' cup competition today also and played excellently for Mrs Magill. They too have had a super couple of weeks on the sporting fields and look forward to defending their Ellie Rogan Cup at the Knockmany competitions next Friday.
We are very proud once again of how our children represented our school today. It will be sad to see our P7 group leaving us next year!!
