Primary 2 had a very special visit from two very kind gentlemen today. Dermie Muldoon and John Gerard Grimley brought a huge array of bicycles to school to show the children as part of their World Around Us topic. The men were a wealth of knowledge and the children were just amazed at all the amazing bicycles that were on show. One of the most memorable was the Penny Farthing. It was amazing to see one of these wonderful pieces of history up close, a real treat for us all! What a wonderful lesson for our P2 children!
