Autism NI Impact Education Champion Award!!

6th Feb 2025
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded an Autism NI Impact Education Champion Award!

We are very proud to have been awarded with this title from Autism NI in recognition of our work supporting students with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD).

This initiative, led by our SENCo Mrs O’Lone, has seen our school staff come together to make every space in our school autism friendly! Several actions (outlined below) have been ongoing throughout the school year and have been assessed by Autism NI, leading to this award.

We have strived to make reasonable adjustments throughout the school to make school life more accessible for students with autistic spectrum disorder and other neuro diverse conditions.

We have sign posted a number of links on our school website to give parents and carers more information and advice regarding autism.

Please contact the school at any time should you have any questions or if you have any suggestions or ideas to enhance our current provision!
