Athletics Success!!
Our cross-country team created history today winning the Girls' Mid Ulster School's Cup at the finals today in Cookstown. After winning their Dungannon heat, our girls performed wonderfully on a very heavy course to win the overall team event for the first time in our school's history. Kate Daly was the star of the show finishing in first place overall while Alannah-Rose Farley finished in third place. Gemma Daly, Ella Hughes and Sienna Gildernew ran fantastically to ensure that our girls won the team competition.
Our boys' team also did our school proud once again. They finished in a superb third place overall today. Turlough Muldoon, Jack Daly, Conor Holmes, Karol Donnelly and Ross Daly made up a very strong team who finished only two seconds off second place! Well done to everyone who competed today and to Mrs Daly for mentoring the team.
