Well done to ours boys who performed excellently at the county finals today in Cookstown. Each of the 9 heat winners from across the county did battle over 3 hours of super football and our lads certainly gave their all. It took a while for the boys to get going in the first group game against eventual champions Drumduff, who were deserved winners. They then put in a fantastic performance to draw with competition favourites Fintona, before winning well against Annaghmore. Unfortunately, it just wasn't enough to qualify for the semi-final stage, but, we are very proud of their gallant efforts! Congratulations to the super Drumduff team who made history for their school winning this competition for the first time. We wish them well in the Ulster finals. A huge thanks to Cumann na mBunscol Tyrone and the referees for organising all today.
Our attentions now turn to Thursday, when our girls will defend their county title at the same venue.
