Eglish GAC hosted Group 'O' of the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Final's Day qualifiers today. Boys' and girls' teams from Roan St Patrick's Eglish, St Mary's Pomeroy, St Joseph's Galbally, St Mary's Cabragh and St Patrick's Donaghmore were present. St Joseph's Galbally were too strong in the girl's section and now go forward to the county finals, although they had to work hard to progress as each team performed fantastically throughout. The boys section was a very tight affair with nothing really between the sides. It came down to a pulsating decider between Roan St Patrick's and St Joseph's Galbally, with the Galbally lads snatching it with a last-gasp goal to win by the narrowest of margins.
