STEM work in Primary 2 & 3

12th Mar 2019

This week Mrs Magill's class were given the challenge of creating a 3D under the sea scene with movable parts as part of a STEM challenge.  The children had to plan out their model by drawing up 'blueprints' and record which materials they would use for the various parts.  The children then got started and created their own models.  They had to measure, cut, pierce, stick and extend materials in order to complete the task.  The children worked independently on their models and did a fantastic job.  The rest of the school came to see thee finished products and hear how the children completed their work.
